The functional fibre was specially developed for the special requirements of outdoor hammocks – easy to care for, quick-drying and weather-resistant. In its traditional form, the classic hammock is closed off by bundled hanging cords, which gently nestle against the body. The quality of a hammock is measured by the large number of hanging cords. The number of suspension cords contributes to the comfort and durability of a hammock. The more there are, the more evenly the weight is distributed – for a feeling of weightlessness! In this way they distribute the weight better and increase the durability and comfort of the hammock. By doubling the weft threads, the selvedges are reinforced and therefore particularly tear-resistant.

Tips & Care:

• Space requirements: The required distance between the two suspension points and the required height of the suspension points can be determined using a simple rule of thumb: The suspension height (y) should be about half the suspension distance (x). If the distance between the suspensions becomes larger, the hammock should be placed a little higher.

• Mounting
  Hammock between two trees:
  Depending on the size of your hammock, the trees must be at least three meters apart and strong enough to withstand the load. To secure the hammock between two trees, a rope is looped around the trunk of each tree and connected to the hammock.
  
  Hammock between two walls:
  For the attachment of the hammock supporting, solid walls are suitable. The MultiSpot, which distributes the weight over four drill holes, is particularly simple and safe.

• Lying position: When you lie diagonally in the hammock, your body opens up the lying surface without the fabric restricting you. In the diagonal position, your back is optimally supported and your spine is relieved. This position also makes rocking more comfortable.

• Machine wash: You can wash this hammock at 30°C in the gentle program!

• Tie the ribbons together: Tie the suspension cords together before washing to prevent them from knotting.

• No dryer: To preserve your product, only let it air-dry and do not put it in the dryer.

• Protect it from abrasion: When hanging up your hammock, make sure that it floats freely and does not rub the floor.

• Winter dry: We recommend that you clean the hammock before the winter break. After it is completely dry, it can be packed and stowed in plastic to protect it from vermin.
