Amazonas has managed to make their pole hammocks as comfortable as the classic Brazilian ones without a pole: By using special, wonderfully soft and stretchy cotton thread in dense quality on the one hand, and by making the fabric significantly wider than the pole: 140 cm of fabric for a 100 cm pole! This gives a wonderful curvature in which you lie comfortably and securely.
